If you want more privacy, less glare and a cooler cabin, window tints are one of the best-value upgrades. The key is choosing the right film type and shade for how you use your car.

Tint shades and UK legality

UK guidance is based on Visible Light Transmission (VLT). Front side windows and the windscreen have stricter limits than the rear. We’ll always advise the best option for your vehicle before we install.

Ceramic vs carbon film

• Carbon film: strong value, good glare reduction, solid colour.
• Ceramic film: best heat rejection and clarity, premium performance.
• Both: UV protection and a cleaner look compared to cheap dyed film.

Aftercare and curing

• Keep windows closed for 3–5 days.
• Avoid aggressive cleaners; use a soft microfibre.
• Small haze/water marks during curing are normal and fade as it dries.
